Regular Grill Maintenance:

1. Clean the grill thoroughly to remove food residue, grease, and charcoal ash, keeping it clean.

2. Place the grill in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.

3. Do not place heavy objects on the grill.

4. Apply a layer of cooking oil to the grill rack to prevent rusting.

Before Using the Grill:

1. Clean the grill and tighten all screws and fasteners. The grill will heat up and deform during grilling; improper or insecure installation will worsen the deformation and may even affect the grilling results and future use.

2. Apply a layer of cooking oil to the grill rack to prevent food from sticking and to make cleaning easier.

During Grilling:

1. Use a moderate amount of charcoal for the grill. Too much charcoal will generate excessive heat, making grilling difficult and potentially causing the grill's components to deform and damage the grill. Generally, the charcoal area should be no more than 80% of the grill pan's area, and its height should not exceed the height of the grill rack.

2. For electric and gas grills, do not keep the flame at the highest setting for extended periods.

3. Do not overload the grill and grill rack with food, otherwise the rack may sag and deform, posing a safety hazard.

4. Do not add liquid accelerants or sprays to the charcoal fire during use.

After grilling:
1. Allow the fire to extinguish naturally (for charcoal grills) and the grill to cool to room temperature. Remove the ash and wipe the grill clean with a damp cloth. The grill pan and rack can be cleaned with water and a cleaning brush.

2. Dry the grill with a clean cloth.

3. Apply a layer of cooking oil to the grill rack.

4. Place the grill in a well-ventilated, dry place and cover it with the grill cover.
