Generally, if the plush blanket is of ordinary material and not very thick, it can be machine washed. However, when washing, the plush blanket should be placed in a laundry mesh bag to avoid damaging the washing machine or the blanket itself. At the same time, choose a suitable washing program, such as a gentle wash or wool wash (if your washing machine has this function), and avoid using hot water; it's best to use cold or lukewarm water. In addition, pay attention to the choice of detergent; for plush materials, it's best to use a neutral detergent or a special wool cleaner.

However, if the plush blanket is of a high-quality material (such as a pure wool blanket) or is relatively thick, machine washing is not recommended. These types of blankets are better suited for hand washing or dry cleaning to avoid damaging the texture and shape of the plush blanket. When hand washing, also be sure to use lukewarm water and a neutral detergent, and gently rub the blanket, avoiding excessive stretching and wringing.

After washing, whether machine washed or hand washed, the plush blanket needs to be completely dried to prevent damp odors and mold. When drying, it is best to avoid direct sunlight to prevent the plush blanket from fading and deforming.
